FREE PIT PASS AND BONUS PAY
After the Raceway announced a need to decrease the purse to finish out the 2024 season, drivers, spectators and sponsors reached out for clarity, and to show support to the racetrack.
Friday August 2nd is our back to school night at the Fairmont Raceway. Supporters stepped up and we raised $5,000.00 to purchase backpacks full of school supplies. 1 sponsor donated a mystery prize for one lucky student and Jess Wiederhoeft rallied 9 businesses and supporters to get kids 15 and younger in for free.
The support did not stop there. 2 anonymous sponsors stepped in and put up bonus money and pit passes for new comers to the Fairmont Raceway. If you are legal to race in one of our 5 weekly USRA classes you will qualify for these incentives. If you have not raced in any of our 2024 races, your first pit pass at the Fairmont Raceway has been paid for. Along with that, if you win on your very first night you will receive bonus pay. An important piece to this, is in Fairmont we race on a draw re draw. so the opportunity for the bonus pay is dramatically increased over a points style invert.
